For thousands of years, the steam bath has been an important part of Roman bathing culture. Based on the company's sauna bath design experience, Helo has developped a steam room wich provides a healthy, restful ambience and absolute comfort for the bather. The steam rooms are both beautiful and practical.
Steam bathing has benefits similar to sauna, but in a very different climate. Unlike the high heat and drier conditions of a sauna, a Roman-style steam bath is taken in warm, moist conditions. With very high humidity (up to 100%) and lower temperatures (100 to 120 degrees F) there are many beneficial effects.
The high glaze acrylic steam rooms are pre-fabricated and easy-to-install. And because they are modular, these free-standing complete package allow you, in no time at all, to enjoy the soothing relaxation of steam.
A Helo steam room can provide perfect comfort for two to eleven people, and will fit into almost any residential or commercial space.
These popular steam rooms are now available with handicap accessible doors. Type 1, 2, 3 are with standard doors only. Type 4, 5 and 6 are with handicap accessible doors only. Helo steam rooms means easy cleaning and little maintenance because there is no grout to clean, no tiles to replace. Our modules are of gleaming 8mm acrylic sheeting with ABS reinforcement (no fiberglass).
